Fire Damage – Beverly Hills Garage

Fire damage to this Beverly Hills Garage Charred the flat ceiling. Thankfully, the fire damage was limited to the supports and the beams with no structural damage. SERVPRO of Beverly Hills used a process called ice blasting to clean up the charred wood. Pressurized dry ice pellets chafe and rasp the charred surface of the wood until the bare and clean wood is exposed. The process is not messy as the pellets sublimate into the air. There is no water to mop up. We do set up air scrubbers cleanse the air of any loose particles hanging in the air. The process is not nearly expensive as replacing the materials would be.
